        What would you like?說課稿

        Good morning,my dear judges.I'm XX candidate.It's my great honor to be here to share my teaching ideas with you.My topic is What would you like?I will present my lesson from seven parts,namely analysis of the teaching materials,students,teaching objectives,teaching key and difficult points,teaching methods,teaching aids and teaching procedures.

        Part1.Analysis of teaching materials

        The unit is from PEP English book,the first semester of Grade 5.It is the reading part of this unit.The topic of this unit is about favorite food.This lesson has a close relationship with the students' daily life.Through the study of this lesson,students will be able to use some simple English expressions to talk about their favorite food in their daily life and feel the charm of learning English.

        Part2.Analysis of students

        The students in Grade 5 are active and curious,interested in new things.After learning English for 2 years,they have accumulated some basic English knowledge,so I will attach more importance to the communication with them,providing them more chances of using the target language.

        Part3.Analysis of teaching objectives

        1.Knowledge objectives:

        Students can review and write the words such as chicken,vegetables and the sentence structure“What would you like to eat?My favorite food is...”.

        2.Ability objectives:

        Students can express their favorite food by using the learned language.

        3.Emotional objectives:

        Students can learn to have a healthy eating habit and have more confidence in English learning.

        Part4.Analysis of teaching key points and difficult points

        The key points are to master the meaning of the words such as chicken,vegetables and the sentence pattern“What would you like to eat?My favorite food is...”.

        The difficult point is how to write their favorite food correctly.

        Part5.Analysis of teaching methods

        I'll mainly use Task-based teaching method and Situational teaching approach.That is to say,I will present some tasks for students and let them learn the language while doing the tasks.And I will also create a situation for students to learn the text.

        I want my students to learn in a cooperative way.I will design some pair work or group work for them to learn the target knowledge in communication and cooperation.

        Part6.Analysis of teaching aids

        In order to catch students'attention and make my teaching effective,I will prepare some teaching-aids to assist my teaching,such as multimedia and pictures.

        Part7.Analysis of teaching procedures

        I will finish this class in five steps.

        Step1 Warming-up and lead-in

        At the beginning of the class,I will invite students to sing a song together.Then I will do a revision of what they have learned before with students.I will divide them into two groups and do a speed quiz.I flash some pictures about food on the PPT and ask students to speak them out quickly.The group can be rewarded if they can get more answers.

        By doing this,I can create a better English learning atmosphere and activate students'interests to take part in the class activities.Besides,revision of words about food can pave the way for the next reading.

        Step2 Presentation

        I will tell students Robin will cook for us,someone has told Robin what he likes and guide them to have a look.Then students are required to read the text for the first time and to circle the food they can find in the text.

        After the first reading,students are required to read the text again to answer the questions:

        ①What's Yifan's favorite food?

        ②What's Grandpa's favorite food?

        ③What can they both eat?

        They can tick the answers on the text.

        Reading tasks of different levels can not only enable students to master knowledge about food better while doing tasks but to learn how to get information from the passage correctly.

        Step3 Practice

        I will invite students to read after the tape and then make a conversation according to the text and do the role-play.One student acts as Yifan,the other one acts as robot Robin.Then I will invite students to fill in the blanks of a letter to Robin to tell what they would like to eat and ask Robin to cook for them.

        This step can give the students a chance to better apply what they have learned in a real situation.What's more,writing activities can also develop their basic writing abilities.

        Step4 Summary and Homework

        In this step,I will invite one student to be a little teacher and conclude the key words and the target language,and then I will draw a conclusion that they should love different food and have a healthy eating habit.

        As we know,students are the center in our lesson.I will try to provide more chances for students to take part in our lesson.At the end of the class,I also make a summary to arouse the resonance of students'emotion.

        At the end of the class,I'd like to present my homework to consolidate what the students have learned in this period.Ask students to write down their parents' favorite food and invite Robin to cook for them.
